We went here for lunch on Sunday during our Märzenbecherwald hike. It was very busy, but we had reserved and only had to wait a short time because we were early. But since the weather was so great, we were able to set up a beer tent in front of the house and thus had a "place in the sun". The beer was delicious and the food was excellent. The service was very nice and friendly.“Bassd yeah!!!” (Highest praise from a franc!!!)We'll definitely be back!!

Good home-style cooking from Middle Franconia in a village pub. Corresponding ambience and smell (near the farm, pigsty...). If you want tablecloths, upholstery, modernity, this is the wrong place. If you want very good Central Franconian food and want to “experience” Middle Franconia or simply want to eat “good food around the corner”, this is the right place for you.Opening hours Thursday to Saturday, other days on request. A bit like the motto (see picture)

We were very hungry from our hiking tour and found this restaurant on Google.Even though it was already 3 p.m., we were still able to have lunch. For us it was basically dinner 8-)There was a "Friday ticket", which was completely sufficient for us.Here we ate the best schnitzel ever . Plus the Franconian potato salad, an absolute delight. But the bratwurst with cabbage also tasted very good.In terms of price it was absolutely great.

Very, very good schnitzel with fries and cordon bleu with potato salad.Everything is freshly prepared and there is a clear view of the kitchen.Everything at moderate prices with a pleasant village flair. The service was very attentive and friendly, and there was also time for a chat. There is also a small shop that sells fresh or preserved home cooking. Also at very good prices. So we like to stop by here again when we're passing through.

Simple restaurant with great service, with its own butcher shop. The food is simply super delicious and the portions are large. We'll be back.
